An ultimatum is a demand which, if not met, will end a relationship or otherwise result in some serious consequence. For example, when a woman says to her boyfriend “marry me or I am leaving you”. There are many types of different ultimatums, however.

Were you given an ultimatum in a relationship before? Or maybe you were the one giving your partner one. They can add a lot of stress to an already rocky relationship.
