100 Things Someone May Say When They’re Breaking Up With You

What you need to realize is that when someone is breaking up with you, they’ll often want to protect your feelings as much as possible… which leads them to a number of “excuses” or “reasons” as to why they want to break up with you.

Overall, while a lot of reasons have some (or a lot of) truth to them, the underlying MAIN reason someone decides to break up with you is because they simply aren’t into it anymore. They have lost feelings. They have lost attraction. They feel as though the two of you have grown apart. People don’t break up with people they are crazy about (unless perhaps it is due to moving or a drug / alcohol problem).
